Not everyone gets a second chance in life especially after a severe accident, but that’s not the case for Micah Anderson. This is his healing testimony.
Praying for Miracle
Micah was only 13 years old when a motocross accident changed his life forever. What once was an active and goofy young boy had become a bedridden young boy holding on for dear life, but God chose to spare him!
Micah’s parents were devastated after being told that there would be no recovery for their son. Even in the midst of their worst moment, Micah’s mother did not lose hope. She pleaded with the Lord to let Micah recover and return to the way he always was.
Weeks passed and Micah just lay comatose with his family and friends surrounding him in constant prayer. In fact, thousands of intercessors around the world rallied in prayer for him as well. This brought much peace to the family, helping them to believe that even if Micah does not recover, it was going to be okay.
Then the family’s faith was tested as Micah began to encounter complications. It was such a difficult time that they even considered letting him go. Micah’s father said, “We just laid it down before God and said, ‘We’re your servants, we’ll do what you want us to do.”
Answered Prayers
Eventually, Micah’s body stabilized, but he was still unresponsive with no signs of awareness. At this point, the doctors told the family that they had done everything that they could do. So, after three and a half months after the accident occurred, Micah was sent home.
Intercessors continued to pray for him and then one day, a stunning new development happened. “I was walking right in front of his bed and I stubbed my toe,” Micah’s father shared. “And all of a sudden, Micah’s laying in bed there, and he starts chuckling at me.”
From that day forward, Micah was alert and responsive. His progress continued on, delivering his first verbal message several months later. That’s when he told his family about how he met Jesus in heaven and how he was sent back to tell a message to everyone.
That message being, “They must know about my love and my Father’s love for everyone, no matter what they have done.”
Today, Micah remains in a wheelchair, but that doesn’t stop him from sharing the gospel every chance he gets. He has inspired so many people including his family who he keeps encouraging and lifting up.
